A precast framed car park in the centre of Saffron Walden, built to take parking pressure off a town centre that had run out of room.

A town centre with more cars arriving than spaces to put them.
The structure is a precast concrete frame, built by Concast Precast, which is the system that suits a car park: the elements are repeated, the spans are regular, and the finished surface is the structure.
Precast also shortened the build and cut the waste and the disruption that a town centre site generates while it is open. The car park has served the shops and the businesses around it since 2015.
