Two schools sharing a site, and a handover date nobody can move.

Precast supplied by Keegan shortened the build and held the structural quality while it did, which is what lets a school be finished between one academic year and the next rather than across the middle of one.

What the buildings had to be, beyond quick, was durable and cheap to run: a purpose built, accessible teaching space that keeps the heat in and the maintenance low for the decades it will be used.
